We solicit position papers (4 to 8 pages) and full technical papers (up to 15 pages).
Short papers will be expected to discuss controversial issues in the field or describe interesting or thought-provoking ideas that are not yet fully developed. Full papers will be expected to describe new research results and have a higher degree of technical rigor than short papers. All papers must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere. All accepted papers will be made available online on planetmde.org. The copyright remains with the authors.
Authors of selected papers will be invited to improve, extend and resubmit their work for inclusion in a special issue of the IEE Proceedings Software Journal subject to a round of rigorous, quality-assuring reviews. There will be a separate call for contributions that facilitates independent submission to the special issue for non-ATEM participants.
As a matter of coherent style, we ask the authors to adhere to Springer's LNCS style for the online version (Consider using the style file from Springer's web site).
PDF format is required for all submissions.
To accelerate the reviewing process, authors are kindly requested to submit the summary of their paper as soon as possible. You will then receive instructions by email to submit the full version of your paper.
If you have any technical problem or want to have some information, please contact us at atem à uni-koblenz.de
